George Frederick Hussey, Jr., was born June 15, 1894, in Brookline, Massachusetts. He directed the production division of the Bureau of Ordnance from June 1942 to September 1943, and achieved the rank of rear admiral in January 1943. Hussey died on April 17, 1983.
